Peace of Mind Care began with family—and family remains at the heart of everything we do.
When founder Kimberly Steward, LPN, needed to find care for her own mother, she experienced firsthand the trust and emotions families face when placing someone they love in another person’s care.
With the love and support of her husband, Kimberly turned that experience into a greater purpose: creating compassionate, dependable home care she would want for her own family.
Today, Peace of Mind Care continues in loving memory of Kimberly’s mother, whose life and care remain at the heart of why we serve.

Kimberly leads the agency as Owner and Administrator, bringing her nursing experience and commitment to personalized care into the organization. Desmond provides leadership in quality and compliance, helping ensure the agency’s policies, procedures, credentialing, documentation, and operations remain aligned with the standards expected of Peace of Mind Care.
Together, they remain personally connected to the work of the agency and the families it serves. Peace of Mind Care isn’t simply a business—it is something their family has built together and a responsibility they take personally.
